Dream in velvet. Plush, petal-dyed cotton velvet pillow is a sumptuous eco-dye accent for any décor. Luxe, double sided velvet pillow has an invisible zipper closure. The fabric is hand-dyed as part of Adiv's Temple Dye Project, revealing subtle shades of natural color for a calming, nuanced effect. A richly dappled pattern is created from impressions of flower petals, like marigold and rose, collected from discarded temple offerings. Onion peels, also used for imprints, are upcycled as part of a program to minimize local organic waste. Each petal and peel is hand-placed on the cloth and steamed. Pillow form not included.
