TEMPLE BLESSINGS COLOR BLOCK

Lustrous unstructured silk jacket is exceptionally beautiful and extremely versatile. The beautiful shades and tones of indigo and marigold petals will inspire you to dress it up or down. No-closure, ¾ sleeve, style with on-seam pocket layers effortlessly. The fabric is hand-dyed as part of Adiv's Temple Dye Project. The richly dappled pattern is created from marigold petals collected from discarded temple offerings. Each petal is hand-placed on the cloth and steamed. Panels of different petal textures are created and hand placed together to create an abstract landscape of flowers. The blocked panels are then dyed in indigo.
