Category – Temple Dyes
Where it comes from:
From the feet of the Gods—literally! Marigold is part of Adiv’s “Temple Waste Project” that uses recycled flowers which have been placed before idols as part of traditional Hindu worship
Its Hue:
As a dye, it yields the traditional, bright yellow associated with its petals and also rich mustard, deep fern and fresh leafy green.
Why its good for you:
Yellow is the color of the sun, life-force, vividity, vitality and energy. Hence, a marigold-dyed garment is perfect to start the day with.
