Where it comes from:
Adiv uses roses that have been discarded by flori exporters for minor reasons like crumpled petals or leaves and also those that have been placed at shrines as holy offerings
Rose petals yield pale teal, pinkish purples and dark aubergine tones while the leaves give out a mossy green colour
Why its good for you:
According to Ayurveda the rose balances the Sadhaka Pitta, which governs emotions and their effect on the heart. So there is actually a physiological reason that roses have been the ideal gift to express love and forgiveness for thousands of years! They literally soothe the heart!
