The hibiscus is generally offered to Ganesha—the Elephant God
Its Hue:
It has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic hair potions for the jeweled reddish-purple tones that it yields.
On fabric, when steam-treated it yields a dark blackish-purple
Why its good for you:
Its natural soothing properties are an effective shield against sunburn, carbuncles, swelling and general skin irritation.
